Dr. Nethanel Gelernter

Dr. Nethanel Gelernter, Cyberpion’s CEO, is an experienced security researcher with deep background from academia, industry, and the underground. Nethanel’s research field is practical cyber security, with a focus on modern attack vectors. Nethanel’s work has impacted the most popular online services and triggered design changes in the some of the most popular web applications.

Ran Nahmias

Ran Nahmias is Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer at Cyberpion, leading global sales. With over 25 years’ experience in cybersecurity, Ran is a technology evangelist with a proven track record of entrepreneurial product management for both startups and Fortune 100 companies, focused on building high-growth, cutting-edge products and solutions. Formerly Global Head of Cloud Security at Check Point, he has also held positions at Microsoft as a Director of Business Development and Field Engagement and as a solutions architect. Ran is based in the Seattle, Washington area.

Ori Engelberg

Ori Engelberg, Cyberpion’s chief engineer and VP Research & Development, is a hands-on cloud expert. Ori joined Cyberpion as the first employee and built its distributed cloud infrastructure, relying on multiple Cloud providers. Ori leads Cyberpion’s cloud research and the results of his direct research exposed critical security issues in hundreds of companies.

Dana Daniel

Dana Daniel is Cyberpion’s Chief Financial and Operations Officer, leading global financials and operations. Dana brings to Cyberpion over 10 years of financial and operations experience in technology and SaaS. Formerly CFO at Inception XR, she has also held positions at IronSource as Director of Finance and in EY as manager in the high-tech assurance team. Dana is responsible for all aspects of Cyberpion’s corporate finance, financial planning, strategic growth planning and operations. 

Michael Groskop

Michael Groskop is Chief Product Officer at Cyberpion responsible for product strategy. With over 20 years’ experience, Michael has a proven track record leading organizations in the delivery of market leading cybersecurity solutions. Michael was previously VP Product Management Portfolio at Radware, and prior to that at R&D director at Protegrity. Michael holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering and an MBA from The Technion, Israeli Institute of Technology.

Tamir Hardof

Tamir is responsible for leading all marketing activities for the company. He has more than 20 years of marketing experience in enterprise security at multiple startups and public companies, including as CMO at Axis Security, CMO at WhiteHat Security and vice president of Marketing at Kenna Security. He also held marketing leadership positions at Juniper Networks, Fortinet and Check Point Software. Tamir earned a Bachelor’s degree from Boston University, a Master’s degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and marketing certifications from Harvard University and Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Yair Hoffman

Yair brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the development of AI, cybersecurity and bigdata products across a variety of industries. Yair’s areas of expertise include machine learning, computer vision and data mining. Previously, was the CTO and co-founder of Algotext, an AI startup that extracts data from commercial documents, R&D team leader in Optier and a MacOS security researcher. Yair holds a BA in computer science and economics from Tel Aviv University

Ben Kapon

Ben Kapon is Vice President of Marketing. In the past two decades, Ben has held various positions in marketing, product and strategy positioning, leading various products with great success across a variety of industries including national intelligence, network and endpoint security, threat intelligence, and cyber offensive solutions. Previously, Ben served as Cylus’ VP of marketing. In addition, Ben held a variety of management positions at Cognyte, Check Point, and RAD. Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Computer Science.
